We are run entirely by volunteers whose passion encourages everyone to get creative.

About the Bexley Arts Trust
Bexley Arts Trust (BATS) continues the work of the former Arts Council of Bexley our aim is to promote arts in the local area and encourage everyone to get creative.
We run two open art and sculputure exhibitions every year at Hall Place in Bexley and hold social events including demonstration evenings, artist talks and member evenings. Day trips to exhibitions and social drawing events are also encouraged.
As a BAT member you will receive our newsletter, invitations to our demo evenings and preferential rates for submissions to our Open Art Exhibition at Hall Place twice a year.
Lots of our members are already part of the arts community in the area and operate local groups for you to join.

Winter 2026 Open Art Exhibition
Thursday 3 December 2026 - Wednesday 6 January 2027 at The Stables Gallery, Hall Place & Gardens, Bexley DA5 1PQ
Open: 10am to 4pm | FREE Entry | Disabled access available.
Submissions to the exhibition will be open Sunday 25 October to Sunday 8 November 2026. To submit your work please download the form below and follow instructions. All work needs to be dropped off on Thursday 3 December and collected Wednesday 6 January 2027. Every one taking part must steward as this event and a rota will be available to book in your slot when dropping off work.
